About
Founded in 1995, Jacob's Well is a free "first Friday" coffeehouse patterned after the original Jesus Movement coffeehouses in the 1960s and 1970s. We book an eclectic mix of Christian soloists, duets, trios and sometimes larger groups. We typically book 12-18 months in advance, but sometimes we have last-minute openings due to performer health or logistics issues. The venue is a quaint, historic 1800s storefront in the center of downtown Rockville, CT across from Central Park.
