The Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel ltée was founded in March 2006 when a group of volunteers realized that it was imperative to establish cultural tourist programming in the Mont-Carmel region.

The Coopérative have been organizing their Summer Concert Series since 2008. Not only does this concert series provide entertainment for tourists and locals, but it enables the audience to discover and rediscover some of our Canadian artists.

To date, the concert series organized by the Coopérative has featured performances by over 550 artists (musicians, singers and story-tellers) as well as 200 dancers. This coopérative has had an important impact on the hiring and presentation of our Canadian artists. Since the beginning of its concert series, the Coopérative has attracted over 10,000 spectators.
