About
The Texas Music Project (TMP) is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to promote the benefits of music education by developing and producing musical programs and experiences for at-risk students. TMP has created over $2 Million worth of music education awareness campaigns, contributed over $500,000 to Texas school programs, and reached over 750,000 students. We believe music has the transformative power to connect, inspire and heal. For this reason we create educational programs that inspire young people to follow their dreams through music.
For the past 11 years TMP has brought educational programs and performance opportunities to those who would not otherwise have access to these educational experiences. TMP has successfully produced shows at venues such as the Majestic Theater, Bass Hall, the House of Blues, the State Fair of Texas, Pizza Hut Park, UNT’s Murchison Performing Arts Center, and many other festivals.
